Metro Installation Services Inc. was founded in October of 1998 by Fred Elliot with the objective to provide the contract furniture market with the highest quality installation services in the mid- Atlantic region. From humble beginnings working out of a garage, to our current location, a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse with a full time office and warehouse personnel, we have worked hard to maintain superior installation and project management services while providing a quality working environment for a staff of fifty employees.

Metro has experienced installation teams installing all major brands of office furniture from Teknion, KI, Herman Miller, Steelcase to Trendway, and Allsteel. Every project is important to us from the delivery of one desk, to project management installation of five hundred plus systems workstations.

As a testament to our quality work, Metro has been selected by several manufactures and dealers to provide project management and installation for their showrooms. Over the last few years we have installed Teknion’s showroom, KI’s showroom, GF’s showroom, OFS’s showroom, Office Environment International’s showroom, Washington Workplace’s showroom, Washington Group Sales showroom, Dynamic Business Interiors showroom and Trenway’s showroom.

Metro has several seasoned in-house Project Managers with an average of twenty years experience to insure that your installation project runs flawlessly. Metro’s project mangers maintain communication in both directions and are intimate with the details of the installation so that any potential problems are identified early before they can impact the project.

Metro also offers Project Management services to professional firms on a consulting basis. We provide Architects, Owners, Dealers, and Contractors complete project management from verifying manufacturing and delivery schedules to integrating installation in to construction schedules, field reporting, punchlist, and project close out.
